قلب جيرونا تخلفه بهدف نظيف حتى الدقيقة 82 أمام ضيفه فالنسيا الى فوز متأخر 2-1، السبت ضمن المرحلة الخامسة عشرة من بطولة اسبانيا لكرة القدم.
واستعاد جيرونا الصدارة برصيد 38 نقطة بفارق 3 نقاط عن ريال مدريد الذي يستضيف لاحقا غرناطة، وبفارق 7 نقاط عن كل من اتلتيكو مدريد وبرشلونة اللذين يلتقيان الاحد في مباراة قمة.
